Ms. Tomich is a partner at Tomkiw Dalton, focusing her practice on representing financial institutions, as general counsel for businesses focusing on transactions, employment law and commercial litigation. Ms. Tomich advises start-up and closely held businesses in business and property acquisitions and dispositions, and in general corporate matters. She regularly counsels corporations and limited liability companies in business planning, operational and contractual matters.
Ms. Tomich also advises employers in employment related matters including discrimination/harassment claims, FMLA compliance issues, wage-hour issues, disability accommodation requirements, employee confidentiality and non-competition issues. She has experience negotiating and drafting employment agreements, in addition to assisting employers in drafting and revising employment policies and handbooks.
Prior to joining Tomkiw Dalton, Ms. Tomich graduated from Wayne State University Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2002) and University of Michigan (B.A., with distinction, 1998). Ms. Tomich is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan and in the United States Eastern District of Michigan. Ms. Tomich is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Fusion, and Inforum (formerly the Women's Economic Club).
Outside of the office, Ms. Tomich enjoys spending time with her daughter and keeping up with her Book Club.
